Chinese figure painting has gradually formed its unique aesthetic taste and painting language in the long process of development."Charm" is the combination of freehand and interest,the former is to express spirit by form,which is the artistic image in written form of painting by nature outside;the latter is the created image by author in the rendering process and grasping the elements of the works,thus creating interesting picture.Works is the medium of expression for "charm",in which the painter adopts careful and ingenious composition,character image style description and picture color taste processing painting to demonstrate the artist’s aesthetic charm by materialized visual picture to the audience.The audience can have the aesthetic resonance by reading the paintings and understanding the painting creation concept,thus "charm" can be expressed.The paper aims to explore the element of "charm" and the effective way to express.It interpreted,explored and studied by reading relevant literature and referring to different interpretations and opinions on the "charm" of the search analysis.Then,representative painter and paintings are selected and the charm in these works is analyzed from the aspects of composition,characters,lines and colors etc.Moreover,the expression of thoughts and feelings can be learned.Next,the author tried to study the experience as an important basis for their own creative learning and reference,so that their works are equipped with unique painting language.The initial forming of the personal style can better express their emotions and ideas,thus helping to create more excellent works to their satisfaction.Meanwhile,it aims to provide some tips and ideas for those involving in painting.The author would be deeply gratified if it can bring some inspiration and enlightenment.
