This paper is a Chinese-English translation report on The Self-assessment Report on Undergraduate Program of Sino-Canadian International College(SCIC),Guangxi University released on Oct 10th,2016.The original text contains 20768 Chinese characters in total.The task,targeting at foreign teachers of SCIC and foreign assessing experts,belongs to non-literature translation,more specifically,education document and assessment translation.Due to small number of target readers and its special purpose,the study on this aspect is rather deficient,meanwhile,it is also a brand-new translation field to the author.The project report,from the perspective of Skopos Theory,discusses translation problems in this field,such as translation of terminology and proper nouns,translation of long and difficult sentences,avoidance of Chinglish elements.In this report,the author summarizes efficient translation methods and experience on assessment report of education through case study,looking forward to suggestions from other translators.
