The Research On Zhuyoushu In Qing Dynasty In The Perspective Of Folk Medicine

Zhuyoushu is a treatment method in ancient China. It can date back to the ages before Yellow Emperor. There are thirteen sections in ancient Chinese medicine,while Zhuyoushu is at the end of the thirteen sections. The system continued to Qing Dynasty. Although Zhuyoushu was eliminated from the thirteen sections of traditional Chinese medicine in Qing Dynasty,Zhuyoushu still had broad effects in Qing Dynasty. In the first chapter of the article,through collation of the historical documents like local records and ancient books in Qing Dynasty and divide the opinions of intelligentsia and the masses on Zhuyoushu into three categories,which are that Zhuyoushu really existed but it has been lost,that Zhuyoushu is incredible and that Zhuyoushu is credible. In the second chapter,analyze the cognition and attitude of physicians in Qing Dynasty toward Zhuyoushu through collation of medical works in Qing Dynasty. Illustrate the application and folk therapy of Zhuyoushu by physicians in Qing Dynasty respectively.In the third chapter,analyze the psychological mechanism that Zhuyoushu works in Qing Dynasty in the prospective of modern medicine and modern psychology. In the fourth chapter,analyze the reasons why Zhuyoushu can be inherited up to now as an ancient traditional therapy.As a treatment method,Zhuyoushu is mainly performed in psychological treatment. Nowadays,it goes increasingly deeply into the hearts of the people to advocate science. People are no longer ignorant and superstitious. Therefore,"uthe divinity" that Zhuyoushu once adopted should be abandoned thoroughly and it should design more rational and scientific methods.
