| The object of study in this paper is the colors of Xinjiang carpet and all the“Xinjiang carpet”refers to the common plant blanket.It is the widely known traditional arts and crafts and the features of colors are full of national character and regionalism.The analytic study in this paper is conducted by the local conditions and customs,the religion,the history of carpet and the grain appearance of carpet.The features of colors about Xinjiang carpet are summarized in this paper and the main colors of Xinjiang carpet are extracted according to the primary and secondary of the colors of Xinjiang carpet.The colors extracted are attached to the innovative pattern design,and put them as the fundamental figures of VI creation through the innovative design of the totem pattern of Xinjiang carpet.This paper created 2 pieces of fundamental figures by combining the figures of special grain appearance and colors as the specific article of VI creation.This paper learn further about the features of colors and the way of coloring Xinjiang carpet,besides have the further understanding for “colors” through the study of this topic.The hue,saturation,grayscale,lightness and warm or calm colors are the important factors of express colors and the relationship of colors.The features of colors are embodied in some ways,sometimes they have to be attached to the specific pattern grain appearance and specific material.The color of Xinjiang carpet are applied in VI works finally through analytic study with the target of embodying the features of color and beauty by modern design,and hope that the tint beauty and formal beauty can be created by combining the“national colors” and “modern design”.Through the combination of the national color features and modern design,the color of Xinjiang carpet are embodied through two-dimension or three-dimension design,the particular colors' charm of Xinjiang carpets are showed through placing the main colors in a series of modern VI designs. |
