Study On Strategies Of Business English Translation From The Perspective Of Functional Equivalence Theory

Since Belt and Road Initiative was put forward by China’s government,China’s cross-border e-commerce business has grown faster with good tendency,which offered us more and more chances to participate in the international trade activities,so more and more people began to focus on the translation of BE contract in trade.The precise translation of business English is conducive to the smooth development of trade activities as well as the reduction of unnecessary risks.The international business English contract is the important prerequisites and legal protection in the international trade exchanges and business relations.So the precise,concise,accurate and exact translation of business English contract is the key to the smooth development of bilateral trade and guarantee maximum benefits for both parties.This paper mainly explores the strategies of international business English contract translation from the perspective of functional equivalence theory through the following research methods of collecting data,analyzing contract cases and bottom-up approach to summarize the characteristics of international business English contract from different perspectives of Chinese and English contract translation of the new requirements in the new era.This paper expounds the important guiding significance of functional equivalence translation theory for the translation of international business English contract,and applies the function equivalence translation theory to the translation of international business English contract,and sums up the Precision Equivalence,Professional Terms Equivalence,Formula Equivalence,Extension Equivalence,Context Equivalence of translation strategies and principles in order to sum up the guiding significance and specific performance of the functional equivalence translation theory in the translation of international business English contract so as to provide a certain reference for accuracy and professional.
