The servicemen and servicewomen are of a special occupation. The professional characteristics of the service people such as high strength and high risk have exacerbated the officers’ and soldiers’ occupational stress. Mental health problems which are caused by occupational stress are becoming increasingly prominent. With the People’s Liberation Army’s reform in the new period in our country, the military core quality calculation pays more attention to the psychological health. The dissertation combines with the rise of positive psychology research in recent years, and subjective well-being and psychological capital as two important research fields of positive psychology, have a great influence on mental health. Therefore, the researcher focuses on the relations of grassroots officers and soldiers’ occupational stress with their psychological capital and subjective well-being. In this way, the researcher hopes to explore the new ways of guidance for the psychological health of the grassroots officers and soldiers.This study selects a total number of 304 grass-roots officers and soldiers as the research object. It uses the demographic scale, scale of stressors for Chinese soldiers,GWB and psychological capital’s scale for Chinese as the research tool, and explores the differences between demographic variables in each dimension which starts from occupational stress, subjective well-being and psychological capital, and occupational stress is studied. The inter-relationships between the occupational stress, subjective well-being and psychological capital are studied and an in-depth analysis of the mediating role of the occupational stress, subjective well-being and psychological capital are also carried out, and on the whole a relatively systematic study is made.The research findings are as follows.(1) The grassroots officers and soldiers under the investigation have a low level of occupational stress feeling and have a level of psychological stress a bit lower than the intermediate level with the subjective well-being’s level is higher than the middle level.(2) In the study of grassroots officers and soldiers occupational stress, grassroots officers and soldiers showed significant age differences, whether as single children, the difference of the household registration, the difference of income level, age, marital status differences enlistment, etc.; In the study of subjective well-being , grassroots officers and soldiers showed the age difference, whether for one-child differences, the difference of income level, position, etc.; In the study of psychological capital,grassroots officers and soldiers showed whether for single children difference, the difference of the household registration, education level, income level differences, fixed number of year of the enlistment differences and position, etc.(3) The grassroots officers and soldiers occupational stress and subjective well-being has significant negative correlation, and subjective well-being and psychological capital were positively correlated.(4) The soldiers at the grass-roots level make their occupational stress have effect on their subjective well-being and psychological capital, and occupational stress plays an intermediary role in subjective well-being and psychological capital.
