Consistently,the researchers both at home and abroad believe that the relationship among the childhood verbal abuse and stress are inseparable, and the extent and the frequency of childhood verbal abuse are able to predict the individual’s stress as an adult well. The childhood verbal abuse will have an influence on the stress in adulthood by the different explanation of the individual’s specific abuse experience and the unique emotion and cognitive style. Based on the previous researches, this article studies the status quo of the childhood verbal abuse and the stress among the undergraduates,discusses the intermediary effects caused by the rejection sensitivity between the childhood verbal abuse and the stress. This article have the Verbal Abuse Subscale of Child Abuse Scale, Rejection Sensitivity Questionnaire for College Students, Stress Scale testing 544 undergraduates from all over of China. The results of the survey indicate that:(1) Verbal abuse have significant differences in age,education background, academic performance,fathers’ education condition, mothers’education condition and mothers’ career;Rejection sensitivity have significant differences in age and education background; Stress have significant differences in gender,academic performance, family economic status,mothers’ education condition and mothers’ career.(2) There is significant correlations between Verbal Abuse, Rejection Sensitivity and Stress.Verbal Abuse and Rejection Sensitivity were showed significant positive correlation. Verbal Abuse and Stress were showed significant positive correlation. Rejection Sensitivity and Sress were showed significant positive correlation.(3) Verbal Abuse can predict Stress.Rejection Sensitivity can predict Stress. Verbal Abuse can predict Rejection Sensitivity.(4) Rejection Sensitivity totally moderates the relationship between Stress and Verbal Abuse.
