A Report On C-E Interpretation Of Chinese Mulan Annual Meeting (2016)-under The Guidance Of Translation Variation Theory

Translation variation theory is common in Chinese translation circle.Some methods we use in our daily translation,such as amplification,omission,combination and adaption and so on,all belong to the scope of translation variation theory.But translation variation theory has not been formally incorporated into the translation system before the 20 th century.In the fourth translation revolution,Professor Huang Zhonglian summed up the translation variation theory and concluded our daily translation skills into them,which then deeply reflected in the daily practice.Nowadays,international exchanges and trade are becoming increasingly close.Language exchange will undoubtedly provide an opportunity for the further growth of China's economy and improvement of China's international status.However,Professor Huang Zhonglian's theory of translation variation is still more applied to the field of translation.So it is increasingly important to integrate the theories of interpretation and translation variation theory.Translation variation theory is based on the application of actual translation,so is closer to the development of the market,which is in line with the market position of interpretation.Therefore,the application of translation variation theory to interpretation can not only make up the lack of application in theory,but also better serve the needs of market.The report chose "2016 Chinese Business Mulan Annual Meeting" as an example,trying to explore the application of translation variation theory in actual interpretation.After looking up the relevant information of Mulan Annual Meeting and predicting the possible terminologies,I compared the result of first interpretation with the one of modification and analyze the guiding role of translation theory in interpreting from the perspective of amplification,omission and adaption.
