Looking back to the development of the interpreting researches,it's easy to find out that interpreting researches have made some achievements.Still,the theoretical system of interpretation desires to be improved.To improve and perfect theoretical system,there is a necessity to study interpretation in an interdisciplinary way.Therefore,with the interdisciplinary sense in mind,the author learns from the physical thoughts and theories.Then the author made a research on the interpretation from the perspective of Physics.Drawing support from the reflection and refraction in Physics,the author constructed the Medium Refraction Model of Interpretation and put forward a new concept of refraction curvature.In addition,the author elaborated three different refraction situations.Even more,the author designed two experiments to verify the model.The refraction curvature of each interpreter in different ready conditions or in different interpreting fields can be figured out.The bigger the refraction curvature,the higher the quality of the interpretation is.According to the refraction curvature and the price,the client could choose the most suitable interpreter within the shortest time and the least energy.The research on the Medium Refraction Model is not only helpful for the theoretical development but also useful for the practical application.
