| Yunnan genre painting has a long history and we can better grasp the current situation of its development through the understanding and cognitions of its history.It is of great importance to conduct objective analyses on its status for the choices and decisions of future development.At present,there are fewer research books or articles on Yunnan genre painting when a large number of theoretical researches for guidance and explorations for art practice are indispensable to realize a substantial change.In the dissertation,the history,status and development of Yunnan genre painting have been narrated in four chapters: in Chapter I,an objective evaluation has been given based on several major period of the development of Yunnan genre painting as well as the historical background,expressive contents and forms in combination with its important events;In Chapter II,analyses have been conducted on the expression of regional and ethnic customs in Yunnan genre painting and the selection of expressive forms;In Chapter III,elaboration has been carried out on the challenges in the era of economic globalization,diversification of creation and marketization of art as well as on the problems in mining themes for genre painting;In Chapter IV,further exploration and researches have been conducted on the regional values of Yunnan genre painting in contemporary artistic ecological environment.In the end,the author has carried out a general evaluation and discussion on the future development of Yunnan genre painting and come to a conclusion that Yunnan genre painting should not only be anchored in the foundation of Chinese civilization,but should pay attention to the development tread of global art as well,which is essential on the path to develop. |
