Museums have a cultural education to categorize objects that are scientifically,historically or artistically valuable,and provide the public with knowledge,education and appreciation.With the deepening of reform and opening-up and the continuous development of economy and society,more and more foreign tourists come to China to feel the Chinese civilization of more than 5000 years.As a collection of historical and cultural collections,the museum attracts a large number of tourists both at home and abroad.However,there are significant differences in the ways of thinking,linguistic features and geopolitical history between China and the Western countries,resulting in a major obstacle to cultural exchanges.In the way of thinking,the Western culture as a straight line cut,broken down analysis,focusing on abstract reasoning;Chinese culture is like a ring inside the seal,look at the joint investigation,to seek intuitive insight.Because of these differences,most of foreigners from the English-speaking countries come to China who are interested in Chinese culture,but because they cannot understand and then misread the Chinese culture.The cultural information of the museum relics guide commentaries contains literal cultural information,cultural information among words and cultural information in the deep.The translation of relics' commentaries is a kind of intercultural translations,so the guider should combine with the Western cultural differences,and take the special nature of the words into account when they are introducing the relics.Because the different in cultural relics have different cultural meanings,they should use the appropriate translation strategy.This paper takes the guide commentaries of Chu Culture Hall in Hubei Provincial Museum,the relics of Chu culture in Henan Provincial Museum and Lacquer Wares Hall and Silk Fabrics Hall in Jingzhou City Museum as the example.And through the analysis of the information of the cultural relics in these museums,explores to point out that this special text guide commentaries is introduced to explain what the effects they can bring to the spread of Chu culture.Through the analysis of the cultural explanations of the cultural relics of the Chu culture,this paper provides a reference for English translation of cultural relics in the museum.It provides a bridge for the Chinese nationals to visit the Chinese museums,and makes the profound Chinese culture spread better.Based on the analysis of intercultural communication,this paper adopts the methods of comparative analysis,induction and summarizes.And takes the cultural relics of the four museums in Hubei,Henan and Anhui Provinces where the Chu culture is gathered as the research data,and takes Chu Culture Hall in Hubei Provincial Museum,the relics of Chu culture in Henan Provincial Museum and Lacquer Hall and Silk Hall in Jingzhou City Museums the research object,and systematically analyzes the guide commentaries of representative cultural relics in Chu culture.
