The Research On Liao Hai Shu Zheng By Jin Yufu

The Liao Hai Shu Zheng is part of the Fengtian Tong Zhi compiled by Jin Yufu,which was named and published independently in 1942.It is published in two parts,including six volumes,which covers 733 books made up by more than 7,000 volumes.It is a comparatively complete catalog of the books about Liaoning Province,which records the works of the scholars,the local history,unofficial history from Jin Dynasty to Qing Dynasty of Liaoning Province,including the names,volumes,writers,the situation of lost and repair,versions,abstracts,catalogs and notes of the books.It is a significant reference to the study on ancient books and records of Liaoning Province.On the base of punctuation and collation of The Liao Hai Shu Zheng,this thesis makes systematic analysis on the catalog and its references and makes researches on the style,referred books and notes to analyze its philological value.The first chapter is an introduction which makes analysis on the background,the current conditions,key points and difficulties of the study and the feasibility of this thesis.The chapter two is the brief introduction to The Liao Hai Shu Zheng which gives a brief introduction to the biography of Jin Yufu and his studies,makes a conclusion of the reason of the compilation of the book with the study of Fengtian Tong Zhi and make analysis on the style of compilation combining with the styles of the catalogs of Chinese ancient books.All of these lay the foundation of the further study on The Liao Hai Shu Zheng.The third chapter,as the focus of this thesis,is the study on The Liao Hai Shu Zheng.As a bibliography,The Liao Hai Shu Zhengrecords literature and ancient books and records and makes supplements to the catalog of the books recorded with quotations of ancient books.With studies of the catalog and the quoted catalog,it can be proved that The Liao Hai Shu Zhengcovers various books,which quotes from official history,local chronicles,pavilion of erudite literature,bibliography and other perspectives.The Liao Hai Shu Zhenghas notes.This thesis mainly studies on the functions and values of the notes from the perspectives of error correction,supplement of the historical data,study and comparison of the name of the book and unanswered questions.The fourth chapter is the study on the academic value of The Liao Hai Shu Zheng.As a comparatively complete catalog of the books about Liaoning Province,The Liao Hai Shu Zhengmakes a systematic record on the works of the scholars,the local history and unofficial history.Therefore,it has an important academic value to Liaoning Province.It is a historical reference to the study on the culture of Liaoning Province.
