A Study On Debussy's Opera Pelleas And Melisande

Pelleas and Melisande is a unique opera of the opera in the history of Western opera,and it is also the only opera that Debussy has completed.This opera in the history of music has a more important historical status and aesthetic value,since the performance,its research has never been interrupted.I try to use the music analysis,hermeneutics and other research methods,in Coleman "music carrying drama" concept,from the composer conception of the opera for the analysis,for the opera Pelleas and Melisande.The research provides a new research perspective and results.This paper studies the opera Pelleas and Melisande from the following aspects:the basic situation of Pelleas and Melisande,the analysis of music creation,and the aesthetic characteristics and historical evaluation.The author hopes that through the study of Debussy 's Pelleas and Melisande play,we can realize the realization of music through the composer' s "conception",the relationship between musical ontology and historical social context.
