A Study On The Training Of Children’s A Cappella Group

With the vigorous development of choral art,a variety of choirs mushroom in China;Beijing Radio Children’s Choir,Beijing Golden Sail choir,Hong Kong Linhu Middle School Choir,and Shanghai Spring Children’s Choir are just a few examples cited.Chorus is widely accepted by now,and monographs on chorus training are also abundant,such as “New Compilition on the Science of Chorus” by Ma ge-shun,in which "coordination","balance" and "harmony",and "tone color" are listed for basic training;“Children’s Chorus Training” by Yang Hong-nian also discusses about the training of Children’s choir.Modern a cappella also develops rapidly in recent years.At present,there is no reference to be found in the literature for children’s a cappella training,which suggests that there is great development space for children’s a cappella training,and therefore has great research value.In this paper the author surveys the overview,basic training,team selection of a cappella group,and mainly discusses the training and prospect of children’s a cappella group.All examples and analysis come from the practice of the author’s teaching experiences in “Ziya Children’s A Cappella Group”.
