The Performance Character Of Marimba Masterpiece Stubernic And Marimba D’amore

The article describes in detail the features of Marimba masterpieces Stubernic and Marimba D’amore in terms of performance techniques, performance forms and musical images. In the meantime, there two marimba works show the examples of two different playing forms, solo and multiplayer. Through my practice and rehearsal, different kinds of problems have been found. With the guide of my instructor in both practical and theoretical way, together with my playing feature, I finally successfully find the solution for how to make the body movement, arrange the connection between solo and multiplayer, find the right one to start the play and understand the musical rest. I hope that my research would bring to people a better and more comprehensive understanding of Marimba art.
