The Research Of The Relationship Between Shijing And Pre-Qin Confucian On Political And Ethical Thoughts

In Chinese traditional thoughts and cultures,political and ethical thoughts have always occupied an important position which is the extension and application of ethical thoughts in political perspectives,not only permeates every aspects of political life,but also exerts a subtle and imperceptible influence on nation's development and social's progress.With the change of history and the update of time,the development of contemporary China can not be separated from inheriting and carrying forward the Chinese excellent traditional cultures.As the earliest anthology of China,Shijing showing the life of early human society and the outlook of mental from multi-vision,multi-aspect and multi-level,which is the true record of ethical life about Chinese ancestors.At the same time,as the product of Zhou dynasty which is full of rite and music civilization,Shijing linked with Zhou society in political life closely,not only has a profound political brand inevitably,but also provided abundant resources for the research of Pre-Qin Confucian on political and ethical thoughts.Shijing's political and moral thinking which is implicit and modest,established the idea of political and ethical values,the objective of political and ethical values,the principle of political ethics and the code of ethics in political subjects,formed an organic part of Pre-Qin Confucian in political and ethical thoughts with abstracting and perfecting gradually,that is to say,there is a relationship between Shijing and Pre-Qin Confucian in political and ethical thoughts closely.The thoughts of “Rule by virtue”,“Respect virtue and protect people”,“lighting virtue and hiding penalty” and “Signing virtue and sweeping evil” in Shijing,were interlinked with the thoughts of “govern by virtue”,“People-oriented”,“Harmony with ethics and laws” and “Self-cultivation in moral” in Pre-Qin Confucian.We can reveals that Pre-Qin Confucian was direct successors of Shijing in political and ethics thoughts with the certain sequence in time.To some extent,the relationship also gives us some inspirations,that is the development of contemporary China not only looking up to the times,but also seeking advice from the ancients,can not be separated from inheriting and carrying forward the Chinese excellent traditional cultures simultaneously.Through the research of the relationship between Shijing and Pre-Qin Confucian in political and ethical thoughts,it will not only contributing to the construction of socialism with Chinese characteristics in contemporary China,but also contributing to the reconstruction and innovation of the Chinese excellent traditional cultures.
