How to deal with the relationship between the background and the subject is a problem that every painter will face.Firstly,both give a proper definition,then through the typical works through the master in the history of Western art,analysis of successful treatment of these works;to compare the different periods of the works of masters,and to find the difference between the performance of processing method works in different periods,and analysis of its causes.In this paper,the author analyzes and understands the typical works of contemporary artists dealing with the relationship between the background and the subject,and finds out the important factors that affect the relationship between them.Finally,combined with their own creative experience and works about their understanding of this argument.
