The story of Princess Wencheng is the important and great event in the ancient history of China,the teaching opera Princess Wencheng was based this story.Composer ChuXingyuan incorporated graceful and simple folklore into this opera when he was written.The opera Princess Wencheng has distinguished solemnly serious as epic and dreamy miraculous as fairytale look from performing style.This is an ambitious opera,full of splendid stage setting and exquisite expressions of emotion.This opera works is not a traditional opera in the aspect of creation.We try to consolidate many art forms by different composing patterns to make it’s closely mixture.This process shown a artistic romantic love story on audience,it is a monumental work of the Han nationality and Tibetan’s synthesis.Many theatrical troupes’ evolution were influenced to various extents,they advance to enterprises gradually.The University was a education institution,now it’s a institution of using talents.All these have put forward the demand for an innovative and objectivity requirement.So train men for profession had practice-based and got them adapt society’s development what we selected the opera Princess Wencheng as a textbook.The opera is a kind of synthetically art that syncretized various artistic form,such as singing art,dancing,performance,and so on.I titled my paper "The Characterization with music themes in teaching opera Princess Wencheng",started with the background of the composing of the opera Princess Wencheng,by knowing the life story of the author,studied the details of this opera,analyzed characteristics of music themes from this opera,analyzed the relations of the music themes and characters,studied and discussed the characterization with music themes.Last,through the thoroughly analyzed,research of rhythm,dynamic,timbre,analysis of works,explained about characterization with music themes in opera Princess Wencheng,discussed essence about characters,expanded artistic effect and musical thought be better.I hope that through writing this article can know more deeply about literary value and art value of opera Princess Wencheng,through grasp the opera contents depth can learn theoretical knowledge reserve,which is the theoretical basis for learn another opera future.In practice,I through understand contents of this opera,analyzed the character of musical structure and music style,try to catch the emotional expressions of the inner worlds of the characters,I explore how to through acting to interpret music themes and artistic conception of the opera.
