The study of regional history and history of princes is an indispensable part of the study of the history of the Chinese nation,Especially the development of pre-Qin region.For the understanding of the direction of the development of the entire Chinese nation,characteristics and integration with other cultural exchanges and other aspects of a very important reference value.In recent years,regional historical and cultural studies have shown great potential for the study of regional history and culture.Xing and Yan are the two neighboring countries in the Western Zhou Dynasty,founding time is close,but also with the Beijing-Tianjin region within the scope of,from a large cultural background,should belong to the same culture system,however,the differences between them are still not to be ignored.From the existing archaeological excavations tombs,remains and other information,Combined with the existing Xing,Yan two cities of the city sites,residential sites,unearthed objects and other research,The Western Zhou Dynasty Xing,Yan cultural relics to conduct a comprehensive comb,The similarity and the difference between them are analyzed and compared,So as to grasp the cultural identity of the two similarities and differences.The paper is divided into the following six parts:Introduction.A Review of the Studies on Xing and Yan Culture in Modern Western Zhou Dynasty,put forward the meaning of the topic,And establish a research framework.Chapter one:The environment is the basis for the development of a region or country.This paper discusses the geographical environment and humanistic environment of Xing and Yan in the Western Zhou Dynasty,For the characteristics of its environment,From the spatial dimension to grasp the background of Xing and Yan culture,to set up a space frame for research.Chapter two:To the Western Zhou Dynasty Xing,Yandu city site analysis as the starting point.From the aspects of the layout and defense facilities of the capital city and other aspects of the Western Zhou Dynasty Xing and Yan in the city to reflect the cultural differences.Third chapter:From the tomb size,shape,burial custom,funerary objects and other aspects of the Western Zhou Dynasty Xing and Yan tomb culture.And made a tentative analysis of the causes of the cultural factors seen in these relics.Chapter four:Artifacts are an important part of understanding history and culture,It is an important way to understand the cultural differences between the two countries in the period of the Western Zhou Dynasty,and the comparison of the typical artifacts,including pottery and bronzes.Conclusion.Summarizes the harvest of this paper,pointing out the limitations and shortcomings of this paper,As well as the need for improvements and additions in future research.
