Learners who speak Chinese as a second language have massively emerged,with the concomitant rise of China’s international status and power,and alongside is the emergence of varied Chinese-learning dictionaries.However,with a great many of publishing,the Chinese-learning dictionaries haven’t been paid close attention to or been taken good advantage of by the foreign learners,mainly on the account of the inability to satisfy the users as well as the insufficient propaganda work.So to make good use of the Chinese-learning dictionaries,it is necessary to survey on learners from different countries to be aware of the diverse requirements.Atpresent,researches on nationalized extravert Chinese-learning dictionaries have rarely been conducted,especially under the learners’mother tongue environment.The number of Chinese learners in Korea has been at the forefront of the world.It is clear that Korean learners’ demand for Chinese-learning dictionaries is helpful to better solve the problems encountered by learners in learning process and help Korean learners to improve their learning Chinese efficiency.It will promote the development of Chinese language teachingand communication in Korea.Based on this fact,by sending questionnaires specifically designed to cater to Korean local conditions to the learners and Chinese language teachers,this thesis conduct the research on the usage and requirements for Chinese-learning dictionaries,and in addition,make feasible proposals for the compilation work.The number of Chinese learners in Korea has been at the forefront of the world.It is clear that Korean learners’ demand for learning dictionaries is helpful to better solve the problems encountered by learners in learning process and help Korean learners to improve their The efficiency of Chinese language learning is conducive to the development of Korean language teaching and communication.Here includes all six chapters.Chapter one is the overall introduction,which concludes the existing research on Chinese-learning dictionaries,revealing both benefits and drawbacks.Chapter two introduces the basic information of respondents,the design and implement of the questionnaires.Chapter three pays attention to learners’ choices and use habits for different dictionaries,including the occupation and the specific usage.Chapter four mainly surveys on the cognitive attitudes towards Chinese-learning dictionaries amied at Korean college students.Chapter five makes analyses of learners’requirements for Chinese-learning dictionaries in Korea.The last chapter offers proposals in compiling Chinese-learning dictionaries on the base of the whole survey.
