In the progress of globalization,with the promotion in political and economic cultural strength,China has played a more and more important role in international.affairs,which internationally enlarges the influence of China and international education of Chinese language day by day.In addition to my experience of one year’s teaching Chinese as a volunteer in Korea and another one year of being a teacher at Shandong University.A variety of problems occurred to me during my teaching periods.For example:I couldn’t make the students understand and use the grammar I have taught repeatedly;culture conflicts;foreign students misunderstood what a role China has played internationally;it could be frustrating to give cultural presentation which was taken neglectfully and it was hard to get students’ approval and recognition.On these occasions,I doubted if international education of Chinese language is effective.I finally named my paper Research the Communicating Effect of International Chinese Language Education in the Perspective of Communication Science under the reference of my postgraduate tutor.Chapterl of the paper which is consisted of two main parts adopt many research methods,such as interdisciplinary approaches,document research,investigation and statistics,analysis of data and so on.one part of chapter2,is concerning the short-term communication effect of international education of Chinese language and the second part is about the long-term communication effect of international education of Chinese language.In the chapter3,the research subject for short-term communication effect is the students who take one international education of Chinese language.In this part,the research focuses on the communication effects of language education and the culture,with a research method of questionnaire survey.The results showed that as for the short-term communication effect of international education of Chinese language,the disseminators play a crucial role and pose a great influence on students.The process of communication is relatively complex,and the contents of communication are lack of communicative function.Additionally,the habits,learning motivation and cultural background of receivers are also important for the short-term communication effect.In chapter4,in spite of the lack of agenda setting,most long-term communication effect studies focus on the students who have taken the international education of Chinese language for over three years.In the second part,interviews are employed as the research method,and contents are also about communication effects of language education and the culture.In comparison with short-term communication effect,the role of the communicators is less important in long-term communication effect.The receivers do not show their problems of language levels in the real communication settings.Meanwhile,the ways of culture communication are monotonous and formalistic and cannot meet receivers’ needs.In allusion to the survey results,I put forward a proposal on strengthening the nationalization and localization of international education of Chinese language,which aims at creating an authentic language environment closed to receivers and cultivating the receivers’ autonomous learning ability.Chapter’ shows us In terms of culture communication,we need to choose a resonate way which meets receivers’ demands but also cultivates receivers’ sense of culture identity.We cannot communicate Chinese culture by method of cultural invasion,instead we are looking for a kind of cultural identity under the background of globalization. |
