Comparison And Research To The Women’s Movement Of The KMT And CPC In The Comprehensive War Of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression

On the basis of the second cooperation between the KMT and the CPC,both of the KMT and the CPC held high the banner of resisting against Japanese and saving their country,the two parties took an active part in the mobilization to encourage more women to put their efforts into the tide of national liberation in the comprehensive war of resistance against Japanese aggression.Women’s movement with the rapid development,the wide range and the majestic momentum was unprecedented in the history of Chinese women’s movement.In the mean while the KMT and the CPC formulated different policies on women’s movements according to different women’s theory basis which guided the different practice of women’s movements,and have distinctly different outcomes and social impacts.Through the comparison and research to the women’s movement of the KMT and CPC in this period,we can not only learn more about our country and society,but also the law of the women’s movements.What’s more,the conclusion we get can provide reference for the smooth development of women’s work in nowadays.This article is based on thorough analysis of relevant literature.First,this article compares the theory basis of the women’s movements between the CPC and the KMT.The former one is the Marxism on women’s liberation theory and the early theory of the CPC on women’s liberation.The latter one is the Sun Yat-sen’s thoughts of women’s liberation.Then,this article compares the concrete practice of the two parties in politics,economy,military and cultural propaganda.What’s more,this article concludes the differences and common grounds of women movements’ practice features led by the two parties.In terms of features,the two parties have the common theme of resistance against the Japanese aggression and the common male dominant characteristics,the different features are as follows,First,as far as the women’s policies are concerned,the KMT’s policies have dual characters,while the CPC’s policies have firm thoroughness.Second,for the stratum structure of the women’s movements led by the two parties,the KMT present serious one-sidedness,while the CPC presents great universality.Third,for the range of activities,the KMT presents singleness,while the CPC presents diversity.The last,this article compares the effects of the women’s movements led by the two parties.In terms of effects,both of the two parties provided a strong support to win the war.The different effects are as follows,the KMT failed to accomplish the women’s liberation while the CPC had accelerated the process of equality between men and women.
