The Xie Family of Fuyang is a relatively typical middle-class family,and it has some political and academic achievement in Song Dynasty.Period of five dynasties,this family already became a ordinary local officer family in Wuyue area.Since the Song Dynasty,by the efforts of two generations,family's status was reached the peak.But between the third generation and the fourth generation,the family gradually faded,and the fifth generation disappeared.Its prosperity and decadence penetrate the Northern Song dynasty.This paper clarifies the origins of the Xie family,then discusses the important event of representative person,and carefully analyze their marriage relationship and friendship circle,show the interpersonal relationships network of Xie Family.At the same time,it analyzes the factors that affect the prosperity and decadence of the Xie family,and integrates the characteristics of its family.
