“Xiang X jiu X” is one of the most widely used and quite characteristic verbal realizations in contemporary chinese language.In the thesis we have selected “Xiang X jiu X” as an object of study which is divided into three parts including introduction,main body and conclusion.The introduction part mainly includes the reason of the chosen thesis topic,research scope,literature review(The reached consensus and still existed problems of previous studies),research method and the description of corpus sources.Main body of the research begins from chapter ? to chapter ?.The chapter ? is about the study on internal constitution of“Xiang X jiu X”.It focus on the formation types at “X” location of the format.Including the situation that X1 and X2 are alike or unlike,as well as the inherent law exist in it.Make detail analysis and induction both the structure types of the format and the relationship between X1 and X2 under the situation that X1 and X2 are not completely the same as well as they are totally different.The chapter ? is about the research on the syntax function of“Xiang X jiu X”.The syntax functions of this format mainly serve as subject,predicate,object,attribute,complement,as well as a clause of a complex sentence.It still can convert into an independent clause.The chapter ? is about the investigation on semantic relationship.From the perspective of semantics,we deeply investigate both the internal and external semantic relationship of “Xiang X jiu X”.Further extend to the negation of the format.The chapter ? is focus on the application of“Xiang X jiu X” in pragmatics together with putting forward instructional strategy for the teaching of chinese as a foreign language.The format can express strong subjective feelings in pragmatics,such as sigh with emotion,dissatisfaction,tolerance,apathy,appreciation,distrust,etc.The format can also highlight the focus and express concise effects.At the end of thesis,there is a brief summary.The problems base on the previous studies that we have figured out are summarized,along with the shortcoming of our work and the problem futher to be solved.
