A Multi-Perspective Study Of "Gai X De X"Construction

This paper is to study on “gai x de x” construction,First of all,from syntactic,semantic,pragmatic three aspects to do a more comprehensive analysis on it;And then discuss the discourse distribution and text analysis;Reanalyze the variant of this construction,there are two ways of growth and contractions,try to do motivation explanation;finally,point out it has a tendency of extending.The first chapter is the introduction,introduces the research achievements of previous scholars and the research theories and methods used in this paper.Mainly use three plane theory,the subjective theory in cognitive linguistics,the focus,the prominent principle,and the text linguistic theory.The second chapter is the syntactic analysis of it,first describe the constant “gai” and “de”,then analyze the variable “x”;And then the grammar analysis of it,analyze the structure in the sentence as the predicate,attributive,object and other components.The third chapter is the semantic analysis of “gai x de x”.This chapter is divided into three parts,the first part is the semantic analysis of verbs,the second part is the adjectives,and the choice of "x".The third part is about the constructive meaning.It has the subjective evaluation,the emphasis,the sense of right and the implication.The fourth chapter is the pragmatic analysis of “gai x de x”.Analyze the pragmatic value by using cognitive linguistic theory,which includes cognitive reasoning function,focus highlighting function and preset function.Chapter discourse is used to analyze the textual function,which mainly includes the function of textual cohesion,contrastive emphatic function and enhanced semantic function.In the fifth chapter,analyze the variants.The variants of this construction mainly include reduction and expansion: the addition of the negation "no".The negation word "no" can be placed in the structure before and in the middle;try to explain the reasons for the construction of the variants,mainly the economic principle of language.In the sixth chapter,summarizes the viewpoints and conclusions of the whole paper,then point out the possible innovation points of this paper,and finally point out the shortcomings of this paper.
