The Research On Real Learning And Aesthetics Thoughts Of The Notes Of The Yuewei Hermitage

Jiyun's Notes of the Yuewei Hermitage is the representative work of the ancient C hinese classical C hinese novels on fantasies,which is deeply influenced by the social thoughts of real learning in the Q ing Dynasty,showing the aesthetic style of “innovative applications on reality”and “advocating reality and abolishing emptiness”.This paper attempts to explain the interaction between Notes of the Yuewei Hermitage and the real learning thought in the Q ing Dynasty,illustra ting the aesthetic ideas,views and propositions of Jiyun through the in-depth study on “Notes of the Yuewei Hermitage”.The essay constitutes the following four aspects.The first part is the introduction on the historical background,basic connotation of real learning thought in the Q ing dynasty as well as its influence on the literary and artistic aesthetic style.The second part is about the detailed discussion on the “ real record” view of Jiyun's novel,and comparing it with the writing style of “the pen of the scholar” in Pu Songling's Strange Stories from a Chinese Studio,concluding the characteristics of aesthetic style of “ the pen of the author”.In the third part,it proceeds from the specific content to expound the aesthetic value of the book,exploring the orientation and advocacy for reality behind the story connotation,revealing the aesthetic thoughts of Jiyun's “subjective feeling” and aestheticism of “beneficial to social affairs”.Besides,it also combines with the trend of times of “syncretism of the three religions” in the Ming and Qing dynasty to some extent,exploring the ethical aesthetic thoughts reflected by Notes of the Yuewei Hermitage;Fourth,it tries to seek the growth point and the joint point between the modern society and human spirit that is featured by advocating morality and rationality,paying attention to moral cultivation,and being concerned about social well-being with “real thoughts and learning” as the representation,giving consideration to the current social problems and excavating modern society value presented by real learning thoughts in Ming and Qing dynasty.
