“Work Family Conflict”(WFC)has attracting great attention in many areas(such as Organization Behavior、Management 、Social Studies 、Psychology)since the notion of the word came out.And the study of work family conflict was popular among foreign countries after 1980 s.While the study of work family conflict in China is still in its infancy, which leads to the lack of research findings. As one of the main sources of individual pressure, work family conflict exists in our daily life.Due to the particularity of their job, primary and secondary school teachers have to play many difficult roles. They must try their best to be a hardworking mentor when they are teaching as well as loving parents, filial children, and intimate spouse when they are staying with their family members. They are under the pressure 、 responsibility and obligation of these heavy burdens. To our surprise, domestic reports on teachers’ violence is emerging in an endless stream in the past few years. For example, they use corporal punishment, dirty words as means of discipline and lash out at families when they are angry. It is no doubt that these violent behavior reflects the teacher’s attitudes towards violence. Therefore,it is of great theoretical and practical value to know the relationship between WFC and the attitudes towards violence among primary and secondary teachers. As is known to us all, during the 13 th Five-Year Plan period, basic education reform is in full swing. So this thesis is of great importance. On the basis of a summary of what had been done about work family conflict, attitudes towards violence, emotional intelligence and social support, this study did a research on primary and secondary teachers.I selected 525 teachers in primary and secondary schools as the object from three Chongqing counties and made full use of the questionnaire to learn the relationship among work family conflict, attitudes towards violence, emotional intelligence, social support, and also to find that whether there is a mediation mechanism between work family conflict and attitudes towards violence. The main results of this study were listed as follows:(1)The distinction of some demographic variables bear significance in statistics among primary and secondary school teachers ’work family conflict, attitudes towards violence, emotional intelligence and social support.(2)The correlation of primary and secondary school teachers’ work family conflict, attitudes towards violence, emotional intelligence and social support was highly significant; On one hand, there existed a positive relationship between their Graduate Li Siqi Tutor Liang Bin work family conflict and attitudes towards violence as well as emotional intelligence and social support;on the other hand, emotional Intelligence and social support treated as individual psychological resources and important external resources, there was a negative relation among emotional intelligence(social support as well)with work family conflict and attitudes towards violence.(3)Primary and secondary school teachers’ work family conflict, emotional intelligence, social support had prediction effects on their attitudes towards violence.(4)Primary and secondary school teachers’ emotional intelligence and social support played a significant mediating role between their work family conflict and attitudes towards violence.
