Raicho Hiratsuka(1886-1971)is a famous Japanese writer,thinker,critic and feminist.As one of the few female thinkers in Japanese history,she experienced Meiji,Taisho and Showa three periods,has been through two world wars.The thoughts of female liberation were throughout her life,whether she established the “Blue Stocking agency”,advocated “the self-awareness of women”,took part in the debate about "new women" and "maternity protection",launched the new women's association activities and the consumer portfolio campaigns before the war;or called for peace,organized a campaign to against any war after the war.Her thoughts of female liberation have had a profound impact on Japanese society and the world.This paper takes the Raicho Hiratsuka's thoughts of female liberation as the breakthrough point,tries to analyze the change of her each stage of the thoughts of female liberation,focuses on the literary and political influence.By studying Raicho Hiratsuka's thoughts of female liberation,not only can we understand the life of Modern Japanese women,but we can also understand the modern Japanese society through feminist groups.We can even understand and grasp the history of Japan and the world women's movement through that to a certain extent.
