A Study Of The Unearthed Relics Of Feng Family At Jing County In The North Of Yellow River | | Posted on:2018-11-07 | Degree:Master | Type:Thesis | | Country:China | Candidate:Q L Xue | Full Text:PDF | | GTID:2335330515973580 | Subject:Archaeology | | Abstract/Summary: | PDF Full Text Request | | Since 1940 s,a number of cultural relics of Dynasties from Wei Jin to Sui Tang have been excavated at the family cemeteries of Feng,in King County.Moreover,a number of Feng family cemeteries of Dynasties from Wei Jin to Sui Tang have been found in Luoyang,Wuqiao and other places.Most mortuary objects excavated from Feng family cemeteries are delicate and beautiful.According to the literature of archeology,the Feng family was reputable and powerful in that period.However,the shape and construction of Feng family cemeteries cannot be studied due to that it not has been officially excavated and mortuary objects are mainly collected from private collections.Thus,the present study explores Feng family of Jing County mainly through mortuary objects,unearthed literature and historical books of Feng family.In the first chapter,the author briefly introduces previous studies of the ancient Chinese families from Wei Jin to Sui Tang Dynasties,displays many research results,makes a brief statement of the main body of this thesis as well.Then the relevant materials and research methods of the present study are introduced so as to give readers a concise and clear understanding of the author’ research purpose.And the concepts of key terms in the text will be defined at the end of this chapter.The second chapter analyzes the situation of Feng family from the history of its family name “Feng” and members of Feng family.Furthermore,the basic situation of Feng family are described.In order to identify the names of the administrative places,this thesis also studies the history of Jing County.In the third chapter,the author compares the unearthed literature from Feng family of Jing County with historical books in terms of the members of Feng family of Jing County.The comparison verifies the contents of Chapter Two and Chapter Four.The differences between celadon porcelain of north and south are illustrated from the data of newly excavated celadon porcelain,and the researcher draw his own conclusions with reference to other scholars.It explores the application of folding one’s clothes to the left or right from perspective of the ancient ritual system,and probes the characteristics of the above two ways of folding clothes in daily life.According to the funerary figurines,combined with the description of the dress in ancient books,the significance of Hanization of minority nationality in north part of China in costume is studied.The fourth chapter is the study of Feng family in Jing Xian during North and South Dynasties of Wei and Jin.It focuses on the characteristics of becoming ministers,marriage partners and family culture.With the help of unearthed literature and the historical books,Feng family’s political tendencies and the idea of governance can be known from the hierarchy of power and procedures of promotion.Besides,the researcher also investigates the marriage situation of Feng family from the records of marriage partners in epitaph and historical books.Thus to find out the overall situation of Feng family in that period.As to family culture,it mainly studies by referring to historical books.The inheritance of their family culture and its family’s contribution to the development of law of North Dynasty are explored.Finally,the downfall reasons of Feng family will be briefly stated.This chapter summarizes the major findings of the present study and proposes the limitations and suggestions for future studies. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | Dynasties of Wei and Jin, Feng Family of Jing County, Celadon Porcelain Utensil with Lotus, Becoming Ministers, Marriage, Family Culture | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
