Ming dynasty has a large number and rich variety of notes novels.Although the notes novels are not as large and as strict format as the formal history,there is still no lack of masterpieces.Hong-mo Chen’s ZhiShiYuWenand JiShiJiWen are two examples.ZhiShiYuWen,a total of eight volumes,specialize in Hongzhi period,and JiShiJiWen,a total of six volumes,focus on Zhengde period.Hong-mo Chen,official to the Ministry of soldiers left assistant minister which is above the middle of the Ming Dynasty bureaucratic,recorded the current affairs of that time,and the contents of the record are mostly reliable,with a high degree of credibility.It also has an important value of reference for the study of this period of government.Researchers of Ming history pay more attention to the political and economic situation of the beginning of Ming Dynasty,while the attention of middle Ming political situation is relatively small.In fact,studying how the Ming dynasty turns fromgrand occasion to decay,Hongzhi and Zhengde periods can give people inspiration.For a long time,the two books become a very common object of academic reference,but there is no emergence of special research on this,resulting to a certain impact on how the two books be full played and used.Therefore,the study of the two books becomes particularly necessary.This study tries to proceed from the following aspects,to certain sort out and explore the contents and historical value of the two books.First,to collect as much information as possible about Hong-moChen and the two novels,removing fake and keeping truth,and to analyze and arrange.Secondly,to briefly introduce the age environment of Hong-mo Chen and to sort out and examine his clan relationship and life experience.Thirdly,to analyze the source,writing time and version of the source and other related issues of the two novels,and on this basis,to organize and summarize the contents of the two books.Fourthly,to examine the historical value of the two books,in particular paying attention to its comparison with the formal history.Finally,to analyze the political consciousness and the basic view of the political situation conveyed by Hong-moChen through the notes of the middle Ming.
