The Influence Of Facial Expression Of Emotion And Attachment Style On Attentional Bias

Attachment is the strong and lasting emotional connection during the socializing process between individuals and his caregiver.Many experimental researches are triggered by the exploring on adults'attachment and relevant attachment strategy.Many researches begin to place emphasis on difference of information processing for different types of attachments.In recent years,with the gradual development of relevant research,the attentions bias of different attachment individuals attracts the concern of some researchers.There still exist some problems on relevant researches to different attachment individuals'attentions bias:firstly,as for research result,there isn't coincident conclusion.Secondly,the exploration about fearful individuals'attentions bias features is less.The object of this study is 600 undergraduates,to select120 undergraduates classified at four type attachment thorough utilizing ECR,and the type of safety,avoidance,anxiety and fear respectively owns 30 persons,each with 15 boys and 15girls.Then adopt the dot-probe task to explore the influence to attentions bias from emotional faces and types of attachment,the material of experiment is the emotional faces.Research result is as following:?1?In the analysis of attentions bias,avoidance individuals'attentions bias to negative emotional faces is significantly smaller than 0(t_?29?=-2.299,p=0.029),anxiety individuals(t_?29?=2.795,p=0.009)and fear individuals'(t_?29?=2.063,p=0.048)attentions bias to negative emotional faces is significantly bigger than 0.?2?Within the analysis on influence from emotional faces and attachment type to attention bias,the main effect of emotional faces is significant,including F?1,232?=4.245,p=0.042.The main effect of attachment type isn't significant,including F?3,232?=7.792,p=0.072.The interactive effect of emotional faces and attachment type is significant,including F?3,232?=4.704,p=0.004.Under the negative emotional faces,the simple effect of attachment types is significant,including F?3,232?=5.633,p=0.001.For safety individuals?F=4.886,p=0.035?and avoidance individuals?F=9.776,p=0.004?,the simple effect of emotional face is significant.After the discussion to the result,the following research conclusion is reached:?1?The emotional faces exert impact to attention bias,the attention bias to positive emotional faces of individuals is significantly more than to negative emotional faces.?2?The interactive effect of emotional faces and attachment type is significant,jointly exerting impact to attentionbias.Thesafetyindividuals andavoidance individuals both put more attention on positive emotional faces.Under the negative emotional faces,the attention bias of avoidance individuals is less than attention bias of anxiety individuals and fear individuals,and avoidance individuals would avoid his attention.The anxiety individuals and fear individuals are alert to attention and their attention bias is more than safety individuals,the safety individuals don't show significant attention bias.
