Objective:(1)to prepare a reliable and effective neuropsychological test of Chinese literal meaning presentation for Chinese dyslexic children;(2)to find out the specific defects of Chinese literal meaning presentation for Chinese dyslexic children, and the corresponding specific brain area,to provide the basis for the intervention and correction of Chinese dyslexic children's defects on the literal meaning level by use of the test.Methods:(1)the literature: form the theoretical construction by referring to the previous literature and the special effects of the voice and the shape of the character, establish the item pool by way of selecting the related tests about Chinese literal meaning from the previous reading diagnostic tests firstly and classifying the tests from four aspects-homophones,heteronym,homonyms,abnormal noise.(2)experimental method: The study included four single-factor experiments, independent variables were the types of subjects,Chinese dyslexic children and normal children;dependent variables were the response, accuracy and EEG data,in the control of literacy quantity, familiarity and other conditions, asked the subjects to determine whether the two words with dots were similar.According to the diagnostic criteria of children with dyslexia,20 Chinese dyslexic children were selected from four primaryschools in Changsha, and 20 were matched in the same class. And according to the experimental results, the items to distinguish Chinese dyslexic children and normal children in the correct rate and response were selected at the same time.(3)measurement method: form the first draft by sampling and testing 300 subjects;and then form the second draft by formally applied to 1115 students in the 7primary schools in Changsha City,1049 valid questionnaires,of which 486 boys, girls 563;Grade Four600,Grade Five 449.Results:(1)Item selection : there were 69 different items on correct rate and response time between the normal children and the Chinese dyslexic children(the second draft),with 17 items in homophone sub-test,17 items in homonym sub-test,18 items in abnormal noise sub-test.And the normal children had the higher correct rate in these 69 than the Chinese dyslexic children, the reaction was faster than children with dyslexia;(2)Item quality: delete the item 1 and 38 with discrimination less than 0.6,the form the third draft,67 items in total,16 items in the homophone sub-test,heteronym 17,homonym 16,abnormal noise 18.The item discrimination of the 67 items was between 0.67 and 2.97,with62% between 0.8 and 1.25,and the average discrimination was 1.30.The difficulty was between-2.12 and 2.88;the average difficulty was 1.12 with 95.52% between-2 and 2,the overall difficulty level was low,the item information function was between 0.2 and 0.4.(3)The reliabilityand validity of the test: the information function of the test was 32,the Cronbach ? of the total test was 0.94,the split-half reliability was 0.84;the Cronbach ? of each sub-test was between 0.76 and 0.87,the split-half reliability was between 0.73 and 0.86.The fitting index of the confirmatory factor analysis was in accordance with the psychometric index. The validity of the test was good. The correlation coefficient among the total scale, the sub-test and the criterion test was between 0.53 and 0.93.(4)Relationship between Chinese literal meaning presentation and brain regions: in the N200,there were significant differences in the F4 and F3 between the homophone and homonym sub-test,and the Chinese dyslexic children'amplitude were lower than the normal children's.There were no significant differences in the amplitude of the N200 between the abnormal noise and homonym sub-test.There were significant differences in P3,P4,P7 and P8 between the homophone and the abnormal noise sub-test in the P300;There were no significant differences in P3 and P4 in the homophone sub-test;but there were significant differences in P8 and P7 in the homophone sub-test;There were no significant differences in P3,P4,P7 and P8 in the homophone sub-test;and the Chinese dyslexic children' amplitude were lower than the normal children's.Conclusion:(1)The neuropsychological test of Chinese literal meaning presentation had 67 items, four sub-tests:homophone,heteronym,homonym,abnormal noise.(2)The item quality, the reliability and the validity were good.(3)To the Chinese dyslexic children, the brain area on the homophone test was the occipital temporal region, the top region and the frontal region. The brain area on the heteronym test was the frontal region, and the brain area on the homonym test was pillow temporal region, the brain area on the abnormal noise was occipital temporal and top area.
