Study On The Protection And Development Of Mount Sanqingshan World Natural Heritage

Sanqingshan National Park,located in Shangrao city in Jiangxi province,is China's seventh World Natural Heritage.After inscripted successfully in Word Heritage List,heritage tourism has become one of the favorite activities to the public.As the same time,it comes into contradictions between the development and protection in this study area.Heritage protection is a“static” state,emphasizing its authenticity and integrity;while heritage development is a“dynamic” process,concentrating on its unique ornamental value.It is high time that Mount Sanqingshan managers should take correct measures to deal with relationships between the long-term interests and current interests,tourism development and resource protection,economic development and environmental protection.In order to find out the reasonable ways to the sustainable development of Mount Sanqingshan,this thesis will make a research from the following aspects:Firstly,on the basis of field survey and literature data collection,we have a comprehensive understanding of the Mount Sanqingshan with geographical position,geological features,social and economic development situation,especially on description and causes of the granite peaks.In this study area,there are five types resources,such as geological relic resources,granite landscapes,animal and plant resources,meteorological landscapes,cultural landscape resources.Secondly,this thesis makes a resource characteristic contrast with other heritage sites.Compared with other nine mountain heritage sites in China,typical characteristics of mountain heritage sites can be summarized with natural ecology,mountain wonders,architectural arts,folk customs and culture essences,which lived in harmonious co-prosperity with the Confucianism,Buddhism and Taoism culture.And compared with other seven granite heritage sites in China and other five granite heritage sites from foreign counties,we have discovered several similarities and differences,which highlights prominent values of Mount Sanqingshan Natural Heritage.Thirdly,according to changes of tourist number,the ecological environment and land use situation before and after the inscription of Mount Sanqingshan,current state of development and protection can be clearly analysized.Based on the model of IPA,from the perspective of tourists,it turns out that original heritage resources are well preserved,while infrastructures,managements and service conditions need to be further improved.Then,it is based on niche theory to measure city niche around the Sanqingshan(the northeast of Jiangxi province),evaluating indicators can be estimated with four dimensions from social economy,ecological environment,tourism resources and tourist market.Thus,it is concluded that Shangrao city where Sanqingshan located,is slightly higher than other two cities on a comprehensive ecological niche,indicating that there is fierce competition among them in this region.Finally,we put forward the corresponding development and protection measures based on the present situation of Mount Sanqingshan's resources protection,the development conditions and the surrounding environment.The sustainable development strategies mainly include four parts:(1)Adhering to the integrity and authenticity of heritage principles and strictly protecting the background values;(2)Optimizing the management system and setting up the city basis;(3)Integrating effectively resources with niche dislocation strategy and expansion strategy;(4)Enhancing the popularity of heritage sites.
