A Practice Report On Escort Interpreting In Sun Island Of Harbin

Interpretation is taking more and more important role in the economic development,treading contact,business cooperation and increasing international communication.According to the characteristics of liaison interpreting itself,the interpreters should aim at communication and act as a medium to promote communication.Under the pluralistic background,the interpreter is also engaged in Cross-Cultural Communication while providing interpretation services.The paper aims at solving the problems in the liaison interpretation work through researching and using the Cross-Cultural method during the escort interpretation in Sun Island of Harbin.Through the testify of practice,the success of the guide translation effect and the interpreter’s cultural awareness are closely linked.The paper includes four chapters.The first chapter introduces the practice of the Sun Island escort interpretation,containing the introduction of the Sun Island and the practical characteristics of the task,etc.The second chapter introduces the specific work process of the Sun Island escort interpretation,containing preparation,on-site interpreting process and the evaluation for the interpretation.The third chapter is related to the Cross-Cultural Communication strategy and method,which solve the problems during the escort interpretation in Sun Island of Harbin.The four chapter summaries the escort interpretation task,the reflection and the inspiration and prospect of the interpretation study and the future.
