The Study Of Pei Wei Zhai Ji Wen

Pei Wei Zhai Ji Wen,which was finished in the early of Yuan Dynasty,is an academic scholar notes written by the Southern Song Dynasty adherent poet Yu Delin in his later years.There are broad and informative contents in his writing,reflecting his learning and insight thoroughly.Its academic value cannot be ignored,especially in terms of the textual research on historiography and the study of Confucian classics.However,there has been no scholar studying on the book so far.Besides,the book's academic characteristics and research value have not been fully excavated in terms of its versions and the preface particularly.This paper,which does an investigation on Pei Wei Zhai Ji Wen,consists of three parts: first of all,the first chapter introduces Yu Delin's pseudonym as well as his writings by investigating his life story,family background and so on.Moreover,this part also investigates the situation of writing,engraving,version,legend and so on,which mainly focuses on the losing time and reasons of the preface by Fang Hui of the book.The second part mainly investigates the historical facts of the book,including its historical origin,the features of the category,as well as its history,revealing the multiple values of the book on historical records.The third chapter basically explores the research methodologies,features and novelty in Confucian classics,and compares it with the Si Shu Zhang Ju Ji Zhu written by Zhu Xi and the Xin Chuan Lu written by Zhang Jiucheng,figuring out the demerits on the study of Confucian classics.Finally,in the appendix part,the autuor chooses universal versions for proofreading.Based on the original Pei Wei Zhai Ji Wen,as well as refering to the version of Xue Hai Lei Bian and Du Hua Zhai,and compiles into the book called Pei Wei Zhai Ji Wen that has be punctuated and collated by collating the similarities and differences of different versions.
