“In The Holy Night" Throughout All The Earth Of Human Beings—On Haizi

In the contemporary Chinese poetry,Haizi is known as the "fantastic poet",even is regarded as the symbol of a poetry era,and he has always been people’s attention and controversy.But many people focus on the death of Haizi,Haizi’s love story,the rich imagery in Haizi’s poetry,or some of Haizi’s famous poem.But in the process of poetry creation,Haizi experiences what exploration and spiritual course,what haizi does and what kind of changes have taken place for Haizi,has few in-depth study.This article tries to inspect the mental course of Haizi,to grasp Haizi’s poetry ideal pursuit,the efforts to build a kingdom of poetry,as well as the experience that Haizi goes through all the earth of human beings "in the holy night".At the same time,to explain why Haizi retires to the "distance".As a poet,Haizi’s ideal is to create the greatest poetry and become the king of the poet.In the poem,Haizi often appears with the image of the king.Therefore,we can see that there are two very prominent lyrical subject in Haizi’s poetry,namely "I" and "king".And the two lyrical subject are really interchangeable,that "I" is "the king","the king" is "I".As king,Haizi shows very strong king’s presence in the poem,dreaming to build a large kingdom of poetry.To be the king of the poet,Haizi finds the king’s "avatar"-sun.The sun is the king of the sky and the only god that we can see.The sun is the king of the sky and the only god that we can see.Haizi hopes he can like the sun with glory and immortality.This great goal makes Haizi feel very pressure and pain.He always feels "at the end of the dark",eagering to find the light at the end of the dark.In the understanding of Haizi,he end of the dark reflects the two sides of the sun,one side is the deepest darkness,one side is the coming of the day.Most of time Haizi stays in this "end of the dark".This end gives Haizi some suggestion and hope,which lets him put aside everything,and go crazy to find the dawn and hope at the end of dark.When Haizi goes in the dark,he finds substance which can constitute a "great poem":land,water and fire.He puts them as the elements of source,through the three elements to find the historical roots,trying to create his own epic.Haizi has a great passion,which makes he become bold and unrestrained,uninhibited,enjoy and indulge,until he runs out of life finally.And many of his works,it presents a kind of "waste"of life and death.Haizi’s "waste",it reflects Haizi’s "rapidly","unrestrained","free and easy",and "enjoy" and " indulge".Haizi’s "waste" is mainly manifested in three times that Haizi is suffering in the night:stray,love,and live.First of all,it reflects in Haizi’s bold and unrestrained and uninhibited to ideal.In the pursuit of "big poem",even to encounter difficulties,he is also reluctant to give up the dream.Second,is reflects in Haizi’s enjoy and indulge in love.In the presence of love,he jumps into the fire of love ferociously,and enjoy and indulge in the love.Finally,it reflects in Haizi’s exhausted himself in life.In the process of the pursuit of a "great poem",Haizi is beset by life.All kinds of hardships apper at the same time,make Haizi as survive in suspension.Haizi were anxiety,forcing Haizi to "waste" to prove himself eagerly,thus he enters a state of crazy.However,Haizi in pursuit of the ideal so desperately endeavour and crazy run,but still has deteriorated.He begins to look for a dream of the "distance".But Haizi finds the real distance is nothing at all,when he is urgently looking for.Haizi is deceived.Wandering in Tibet,he has studied the local Buddhism and seen the mysterious "celestial burial ceremony".The cycle view in the buddhist doctrine and ritual,changes Haizi’s understanding of life and death.They make Haizi believe that the loss of life is not death,but life continue to exist in another form.And,there is an other better world outside this world.Hence,Haizi begins to look for the "other world " through the cycle and beyond,and expects people can gain happiness in the "other world".So,he finally chose to leave the world,towards the "other world".
