The Confucius institute of Burundi university is launched by hanban,and built by Burundi and the Bohai university together,it is also the first Confucius institute of Burundi to open.In the Chinese teaching classroom of Burundi,comprehensive course teaching has taken the core place.Comprehensive course includes language knowledge teaching and the cultivation of language skills and communication skills,so for Chinese teachers of Burundi need to constantly explore and research in the process of practice teaching and explore the teaching methods suitable for Chinese learners in Burundi.Through the questionnaire survey,observation method and other research methods,combined with the author practices at the Confucius institute of Burundi university elementary Chinese class teaching,has a detailed analysis for the Confucius institute of primary Chinese comprehensive course teaching present situation and concern to the comprehensive course selection of teaching materials,teaching arrangement and schedule,teaching mode,teachers’ use of language and teaching AIDS,teaching methods,to understand the popular teaching methods in the Confucius institute students,finds that the Confucius institute is still existing problems,and according to the status quo,problems and the theory of linguistics,cross-cultural communication theory as the theoretical basis put forward the concrete suggestions from environment、teaching material、staffs and teaching to conform to the Confucius institute comprehensive course and try to do applicability and practicability,hope to enhance the comprehensive course teaching quality of the Confucius institute.
