Carving Time—Study Of The Written Youth Films About The Great Cultural Revolution

The great cultural revolution of the decade has been buried in history for forty years.After the revolution,filmmakers of different ages establish and share different memory of the revolution through the screen.Some part of these memories outline spiritual growth and life trace of the youths in the revolution from the perspective of adolescence,which bringing a living passion and lively bright color to the gray society.On the contrary,the disastrous revolution let the youth be suffered,and we see the different encounter from the present youth,which establish the unique memory the youth.This article studies the written youth films about the great cultural revolution,on the basis of interpretation and combing nearly thirty films,using the research of entirety and individual,combining the opinion of film narratology,sociology with culturology,by the research idea of "how to be written","different writing in different times" and "why it is written",from how to construct the memory of the cultural revolution,the memory of different ages,and the psychological mechanism of writing the youth of the cultural revolution,and we try to grasp the creative style of this kind of film,grope out the changes of social ideology and cultural psychology.The text is divided into four chapters,the introduction is a definition of the subject from the concept,and the research meaning of the topic and the present situation of the research at home and abroad are also introduced.Chapter one,the writing strategy of the youth films about the cultural revolution,film build double memory of the youth and the cultural revolution,with the first person flashbacks tone,lyric poetry,to reminisce about lost youth,illustrates the youth theme and the reflection.Chapter two,the kernel of the youth films about the cultural revolution,film is divided into four parts about spirits and heart of the youth under the social environment of the cultural revolution,and their life choices and value orientation when are oppressed by the harsh cultural revolution.The four parts,in turn,are image reconstruction of memories of the cultural revolution,out-breaking by the repressed youth,body symbol construction and metaphor,the youth carnival.Chapter three,the writing differentiation of the youth films about the cultural revolution,states that people of different eras have merged the new social landscape and the atmosphere of the times,combined with individual life experience and historical imagination,in the four decades since the end of the cultural revolution,the memory construction of the youth of the cultural revolution has a tendency to differentiate,and the artistic quality of the film changes accordingly.lt reflects de-ideological at the political level,deprivation of seriousness of the history at the historical level,and commercial elements are becoming the dominant force in the film.Chapter four,the writing psychology of the youth films about the cultural revolution,states the inner drive of writing,from the revelation of the wound,the reflection of the history,complaint destructive cultural revolution,comforting the mind,to reminisce about the past youth,express sorrow and dismay of the youth,go through a journey of the spiritual changes of the cultural revolution.But history cannot be forgotten,taking history to the far side and making an explanation and outlook on the value and future development of such films.In conclusion,this paper summarizes the full text,looking forward to the youth films about the culture revolution which covers historical mission,nostalgic mood and artistic quality coming in the future.
