| Artistic songs created by Rossini are sincere and melodic,which have special her itage value and artistic charm.Additionally,the use of harmony in these songs is simp le,clear but changeable.These art songs are not only excellent vocal teaching materia Is,but also applying to all kinds of concerts,which plays a key role for vocal music le arners to improve musicianship and singing level.The first part of this thesis,after a brief review of Rossini’s life,mainly expounds the basic condition of how Rossini creating these art songs.First,I analyze the creating background of Rossini’s art songs.Second,according to the creating date and style,these artistic songs can be divided into three main stages:early stage,art songs created in 1830s to 1840s and art songs created in 1850s to 1860s.I list the main works of each creating stage and turn to analyze and summarize their style and characteristics;The second part of this paper analyzes the creation characteristic of Rossini’s art songs from the aspects of the diversity of style,the classical musical structure,the dramatic features of music,the characteristics of poetry and piano accompaniment;In the third part,firstly I select four familiar songs,namely"Condemned","Invitation","Farewell " and "Promise".And then,I describe the singing style of songs above from the aspects of music in general and singing interpretation,poetry structure and versification to get a comprehensive study of Rossini’s art songs.While singing,I am always deeply attracted by the artistic charm of Rossini’s art songs,which is the main reason why I focus on the study of Rossini’s art songs.I hope that this study may help vocal music learners have a deeper understanding of the singing style and composing features of Rossini’s art songs and draw out the intrinsic value of these art songs completely in the process of vocal music teaching. |
