Classical Thoughts And Romantic Feelings

Beethoven is the last master in the history of Western art in the classical period.He ended the glorious classical period in the history of piano art and opened the way to the romantic period.In his creation,the most important section addition to the symphony,is the piano music,and his 32 piano sonata is the most important achievements in his piano creation.Beethoven’s 32 piano sonatas as a must learned course for every students,in my experience,I found that although Beethoven is a master of the classical period,but in his creation of the piano sonata,you can saw he broke through the form of traditional sonata,there have been a lot of creative features of the romantic period.Based on the classical period’s tradition,and carried out in innovation and development,greatly developed the performance of the piano musical instruments,the structure of the music is more huge,harmony is more abundant.The complex emotion of the composer are also has been concentrated expression in these music,and further formed Beethoven’s own unique style.The main part of this article is divided into four chapters:The introduction is mainly to introduce the theoretical and practical significance of this topic,the domestic and abroad for the topic of research and my own views.The first chapter begins with the formation of the piano sonata and the development of the piano sonata during the classical period before Beethoven,just like other three composers as Haydn,Mozart and Clementi.and then describes the Beethoven’s personal life and the three periods of his creation of the piano sonata.The second chapter and the third chapter are the main parts of this paper.The classical features and romantic features of the piano sonata in Beethoven’s different periods are analyzed in detail from the perspective of the structure of the works,the characteristics of the creation,the musical style and so on,and my own experience when playing these music.And the fourth chapter introduces the influence of Beethoven’s piano sonata on the whole Chinese and western country,and the spirit of the times contained in Beethoven’s sonata and the innovation and development of Beethoven’s piano sonata.Finally,the last chapter is the conclusion of this paper,to summarize the argument of this article.
