A Discussion On “Non Object” In Oil Painting

For a long time,oil painting practice in China have been deeply influenced by the thinking mode of dualism of western rationalism,as a result,the oil painting sketch as an important art practice,gradually change to be more and more objectified,conceptual,unreflecting and stereotyped.In this paper,through the study of the development of oil painting and sketch in China and the role of rational thinking in the process in order to find out the root of this phenomenon and change it.On the basis of reference to the domestic and international philosophy of non-rationalism and phenomenology,combined with Chinese traditional dialectical thinking philosophy of "union of heaven and man" "one is all,all is one",put forward the concept of "non-object" in painting.This paper points out that "non-objective" in fact is the pursuit of the unity of subjective and objective,through this method to understand the complex world,in a non-rational response to the non-rational,can be a effective means to achieve the combination of art world and real world.The article also expounds the concrete contents of "non-object" contained in the oil painting sketch practice from three aspects include the “tool”,the "chirality" and the "subject" and the concrete way to realize this methodology.
