Research On The Chinese Music Industry Development's Problems In The Vision Of Western Marxism

Music industry is an important part of culture industry.Academia has had many researches for culture industry and music industry;but when studying the problems of specific technology applications in music industry,Chinese and abroad researches only tried to analyze and solve in economic,legal or technology and other isolated dimensions,which cannot dig into the essence of problems;or tries to using abstract and obscure philosophical discourse to criticize on industrial methods of producing in music industry and concept of products,which concerns few technology applications.When integrating qualitative research method and quantitative research method,and analyzing some problems bought by specific technology application of Chinese music industry development's process in the vision of Western Marxism,we can find some problems like technology processing's normalization(such as settled similar styles' technology processing,and loudness war between different styles),the “style” tending to lost(such as confusion of form or elements and style itself,and some styles are not for industrial production thus their style expressions are being weakened),and audience losing their characters and critical ability.These three problems follow the logic of capital,which also contributed to the causes of these problems.Solutions must be given from the perspective of creators,market and copyright,and capital control.Theoretically speaking,Western Marxism's theory on culture industry still has criticalness today,and,it can offer an example to domestic similar research;in practice,a benign development of music industry placed in socialist market economy can't leave the conscious artists,the normative market and the control of capital,especially needs artists to guide technology progress actively.
