An Empirical Study On The Relationship Between Farmers' Psychological Characteristics,moral Responsibility And Behavior Of Pesticides Application

During the modernization process of our country's green agriculture,the green and environmrent-friendly agricultural protection method has become a significant part of the modern green agricultural development,of which farmers are considered as the first main body,whose pesticide applying behavior has tremendous influence on green and environmental agricultural production.Nevertheless,farmers' actual behavior is not standardly qualified,thus causing a serious threat to the ecological environment,the quality and safety of agricultural products as well as farmers' himself and consumers' health.N umerous scholars have done a large amount of research on farmers' behavior of pesticide use along with its influencing factors,while,rare scholars conducted the research from the perspective of farmers' psychological characteristics within the theoretical framework with rational behavior theory,planned behavior theory and information asymmetry theory combined together.Therefore,this paper based on the planned behavior theory,the theory of rational behavior and information asymmetry theory,is conducted to investigate farmers' pesticide applying behavior and its main influencing factors,which has certain theoretical value and practical significance.The specific research content is listed as follows:On the basis of the rational behavior theory,planned behavior theory and the information asymmetry theory,the present paper constructs a research model including faremers' perceived behavior control,subjective norm,behavior attitude,moral responsibility and farmers' behavior of pesticides use,comprehensively applying the inductive and deductive method,the field research method as well as the empirical analysis method,and at the same time studies the influencing factors of citrus planting farmers' pesticide applying behavior,conducting descriptive statistical analysis and empirical analysis of the sample data with the statistics software—SPSS,exploring the influence mechanism between farmers' perceived behavior control,subjective norm,behavior attitude,moral responsibility and pesticides applying behavior by dint of multiple linear regression equations.According to the empirical analysis,this paper comes to the following conclusions: first of all,farmers' perceived behavior control has a positive impact on citrus planting farmers' pesticide segregation behavior,but not significant,however,it has a remarkable positive effect on the farmers' behavior of pesticide concentration ratio,farmers' compliance behavior of pesticide safety interval and farmers ' processing behavior of pesticide empty package;secondly,farmers' subjucestive norm exploits an extremely important and positive effect on farmers' behavior of pesticide segregation,behavior of pesticide concentration ratio,compliance behavior of pest icide safety interval and farmers' processing behavior of pesticide empty package;then the farmers' attitude has a positive influence on farmers' behavior of pesticide concentration ratio,while it has a negative effect on farmers' behavior of pesticide segregation and farmers' processing behavior of pesticide empty package,but neither of the effects is significant,moreover,it has a marked negative effect on farmers' processing behavior of pesticide empty package;and then,famers' personal moral responsibility wields positive but not dramatic influence on farmers' behavior of pesticide segregation,nevertheless,it shows a positive impact on farmers' behavior of pesticide concentration ratio,pesticide segregation as well as farmers' processing behavior of pesticide empty package;and at last,farmers' personal moral responsibility plays a remarkable mediation role in the relationship between farmers' perceived behavior control,subjuective norm,behavior attitude and farmers' behavior of pesticide concentration ratio,compliance behavior of pesticide sa fety interval along with farmers' processing behavior of pesticide empty package.On the foundation of the above results,the present paper comes to the research conclusions.Farmers' perceived behavior control,subjective norm,behavior attitude and personal moral responsibility oexpit distinct influence on different types of farmers' pesticides application behavior,and farmers' moral responsibility mediates the relationship between farmers' perceived behavior control,subjective norm,behavior attitude and farmers' pesticides application behavior to some degree.Therefore,the present paper is of certain pragmatic values to regulaulate farmers' pesticides use behavior,which is aimed at exploring the influencing factors of farmers' pesticides use behavior from the perspective of farmers' psychological characteristics.Finally,the paper propounds some relevant suggestions from the following four aspects: farmers' perceived behavior control,subjective norm,behavior attitude,personal moral responsibility with the purpose of promoting frmers safe use of pesticides.
