The Discussion Of Nozick’s Entitlement Theory

Throughout the course of development of contemporary political philosophy,Nozick with its entitlement theory to become an independent school theory in the field of contemporary political philosophy,writing a glorious chapter.Rights,can be said to be the core part of Nozick philosophy,want to have a thorough understanding of the philosophy of Nozick must proceed from its unique view of rights.In this paper,three parts of the concept of the right to conduct a comprehensive exploration.First of all,through the shallow analysis of Locke and Kant’s theory about the individual rights for the comprehensive study of Nozick entitlement theory lays the logical foundation,and tring to sort out the history of philosophy and logic;secondly,Analysing the entitlement theory what is the core of Nozick’ rights,and comparing with Rawls’ theory of justice;Thirdly,From the Nozick’s individual rights can be extended to the national level,I try to analyse the origin of state and deduce to the ideal of "minimal state",and deduce to the framework for Utopia;Finally,to sum up the Nozick right concept of reflection from the two aspects: limitation and significance,and combined with China’s situation analysis,summed up the essence we should learn from the theory.
