Obviously not.For exampl e,the music drama “Guo Zhi Dang Ge” and “Notre Dame de Paris” are a little utilitaria n.“Guo Zhi Dang Ge” aims to praise the folk musician Nie Er,so as to carry forward th e national spirit and educate us to keep the history in mind.“Notre Dame De Paris” mai nly praises the humanitarian charity,and attacks the feudalism and church system.From that,we can know that both the two music dramas have the characteristic of “seriousne ss”,and focused on the musical education and moral influence.Also,the two music dra mas have the “entertainment” that music drama needs in the aspects of performer singin g,stage beauty,play design and so on.The conflict and confusion of that kind of “entert ainment” and “seriousness” is the essence that the author wants to research.Therefore,t his paper explores and researches the aesthetic fusion of “seriousness” topic and “entert ainment” form by taking two classical domestic and foreign music dramas “Guo Zhi Da ng Ge” and “Notre Dame De Paris”,from the view of aesthetics.
