Research In Organizing Literature In The Republic Of China And Applying In Promoting Local Tourism Regarding To Putuo

Mount Putuo is one of the four sacred mountains in Chinese Buddhism,and is considered the bodhimanda of the Avalokitesvara(Guanyin).It is an island in Zhoushan Archipelago.It is recorded in Avatamsaka Sutra that there is an island in the south called Budan.According to this transliteration,here comes the name of Mount Putuo.It can be seen in annals since Qin dynasty,and many alchemists came here to pursue immortality.In AD 863,After thousands of years' rise and fall,it became the famous mount in the Republic of China.During this time,the Ancient literati and paladins visited Mount Putuo to made poets and proses.Therefore,Mount Putuo is not only a Buddhist mountain but also a culture-famous mountain.Since the late Qing dynasty,the newspaper industry has been booming until the Republic of China.All kinds of newspapers are published by the privates or the government.It means that people have more efficient and various ways to speak loudly,including poetry and travel literature.It makes that the document resources are not limited to ancient pieces but more writings are preserved and spread by newspaper.This research is the collection and study of Mount Putuo based on this kind of literature,and trying to find the value in tourism promotion from it.There are five parts in this essay.The first part is the introduction.It states the background,meaning and method of this research,also summarize the research status of this filed.The second part is the documents study in Republican China period and it can be divided into two sections.One is the study of those documents' sources,kinds and features,and the other one is the classification and analysis of their authors' identities and opinions.The third part is an introduction of the tourism during the Republican China period,including its itinerary,transportation,accommodation,consumption,temples and customs.The fourth part is the study of tourism industry development nowadays and trying to find its deficiency.The last part is trying to explore the applied value in today 's tourism promotion from those documents,as countermeasures of solving problems,providing improvement programs and stimulating the tourism development of Mount Putuo.
