A Study Of The Narrative Of Criminal Films Of The Present Mainland China

With the development of the Chinese film industry,In recent years,Crime films of the Mainland China have excellent performance in number,quality,market,audience reputation and film festival,the bold exploration they did in the narrative is particularly noticeable.In the environment of comedy,love,youth and other soft type,magic,action and other large visual,these works show a different view and strong realism care.They have complemented and enriched the type and style of the Chinese mainland film and eased poverty of the current Chinese film in the narrative aesthetics.They are also broadening the performance of domestic film scale to a certain extent and causing the general concern of the audiences,industry and researchers.However,most of the existing theories are limited to a few works or some angles.This paper tries to present the history and the causes of the development of the present criminal film as a whole of the Mainland China as the object of study and analyze the gains and losses of the narrative and make the development suggestions at the same time.Classical narratology is criticized because of it is limited to the text and ignores the social and cultural context and audiences' active movement.And they have more research results of the narrative form(discourse)than the narrative content(story).But many concepts and the patterns of the classic narratology are still a valid analysis tool of text.Therefore,this paper will use the theory of narratology,film tand sociology,culturology and other related theories and use text analysis,literature analysis and theoretical analysis as methods,through a number of angles,analyze mainly in the form of narrative and taking into account the content,and ultimately point to the narrative of current criminal film of the Mainland China,in order to obtain a relatively comprehensive and developmental study result.This paper is divided into five chapters.The first chapter have presented the history and the causes of the development of the current criminal film of the Mainland China.The second,the three and the four chapter is the key part of this paper,they have detailedly analyzed the characteristics of those works in the point of view,narrative time,narrative space and character,combined with the specific text.The fourth chapter have discussed the existing problems and suggestions of these works in the narrative.
