As the current trend of aging of China society is becoming increasingly apparent,the pressure of hospital care work gradually increased,the hospital urgently need nurses with high work performance.At present,the nurses group is also faced with difficulties,on the one hand,the nurses have more arduous tasks and high work pressure,but the nurses have not been paid enough attention and nurses group social status is low,which had a negative impact on work enthusiasm.On the other hand,the effects of economic pay and benefits on nurses have been limited,so we should turn our attention to the higher level of human needs,intervene at the psychological level,and stimulate the nurses.This study focuses on two psychological variables of nurses,namely,internal professional identity and external spiritual satisfaction,and there are few studies on the relationship between these two variables and job performance.Therefore,the aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between professional identity,psychological reward satisfaction and work performance of nurses,assume that psychological reward satisfaction has a mediating effect between professional identity and work performance and try to provide empirical supports for the administrators of hospitals to improve the work performance of nurses.This study selected 400 nurses(number of valid questionnaires was 387)as samples,collecting data by questionnaire surveys,which was analysed identity,psychological reward satisfaction and work performance are shown as follows:(1)In general,the professional identity is better than middle level.Professional identity has a significant difference in age,marital status,working years,average number of night classes,technical titles,hiring methods,monthly salary.There is no difference in gender,education,work age,professional title and employment forms.(2)In general,the condition of nurse's psychological reward satisfaction is better than middle level.Psychological reward satisfaction has a significant difference in marital status,working years,average number of night classes and has no significant difference in age,gender,education,technical titles,hiring methods,monthly salary.(3)In general,the condition of nurse's work performance is better than middle level.Work performance has a significant difference in age,marital status,working years,average number of night classes and monthly salary and has no significant difference in gender,education,technical titles,hiring methods.(4)There are significant correlations among professional identity?psychological reward satisfaction and work performance.Professional identity has remarkable positive correlation with psychological reward satisfaction;professional identity has remarkable positive correlation with work performance;psychological reward satisfaction has remarkable positive correlation with work performance.(5)Both professional identity and psychological reward satisfaction can effectively predict work performance.Professional identity has a significant impact on work performance.Psychological reward satisfaction has a significant impact on work performance.(6)Psychological reward satisfaction acts as a partial mediating role in the relation between professional identity and work performance.
