| The Chao opera is a traditional local drama in Chaozhou.According to the historical records,it has existed for over 400 years and has a deep regional culture.Although the survival of the Chao opera has been impacted and influenced inevitably in face of contemporary social modernization and globalization of culture shock,on the whole,this drama still has strong vitality in the civil society of Chaozhou.At present,there are a variety of opera teaching modes of inheritance in Chaozhou,and the "doll opera" is the most special one in the children’s Opera Heritage Center.To understand the situation of teaching activities of the children’s Opera Heritage Center,I have been to Chaozhou to expand the field investigation four times.I had an interview and a questionnair survey with Director Chen Peng,Teacher Huang Chanyan,the young learners,the parents of the learners and the audience in the children’s Opera Heritage Center.Besides,in order to collect the teaching characteristics comprehensively,I also participated in the children’s Opera class.This study focuses on the overall teaching activities about the children’s opera.In the first part,I outlines the development history of ten years and the present situation of the children’s opera group,then comprehensively combs teaching objects,teaching staff,teaching arrangements,teaching materials,teaching objectives,teaching ideas,teaching equipment and other related elements of teaching situation in the children’s Opera Heritage Center.In the second part,I have a deep description and analysis on the children’s Opera Teaching with the research methods of class ethnography and effective teaching theory.To display the class teaching situation of the children’s Opera Heritage Center multidimensionally and comprehensively,I conduct it from four aspects with the seven stages of the class teaching process,teaching content and methods,the class teaching strategies and students’ learning behavior and characteristics,for the reference of other children’s operas.In the third part,I integrally explain the understanding of the theory of the teaching activities on the children’s Opera.First of all,I return the phenomenon of the children’s Opera teaching to children’s psychological characteristics and nature characteristics of the Chao opera,exploring the feasibility of the Chao opera’s inheritance in children.Secondly,I put the children’s Opera teaching activities in the human society and use the educational anthropology perspective to comprehensively explore the relationship between the children’s Opera teaching phenomenon and Chaozhou natural ecological environment,economic environment,social environment.Finally,the children’s Opera teaching phenomenon is based on inheritance and protection of the culture and I sum up the five kinds of teaching modes of Chao opera and the effectiveness of teaching activities of children’s opera heritage on Chao opera,Meanwhile I discuss the confusion and problems on the inheritance and protection of the Chao opera. |
