Re-open The Theory Of Confucius:Liang Shuming’s Rural Construction Theory In The View Of Confucianism

With the development of contemporary Chinese society entering the new normal,the rural modernization problem gets more and more attention.Nowadays the rural society has such common condition which the ritual and law is inefficient.For this situation,we can try to use the Confucian way.When it comes to the rural construction of Confucian type,Liang Shu-ming is a pioneer.The problem of Chinese society at that time,he thought,in the final analysis was the cultural problem and cultural has collapse to the deepest.The village was the root of Chinese culture so that the country must be the beginning to rebuild a new social organization structure,and then gradually expand to the whole country.The grasp of the Chinese society by Mr Liang was unique and profound.He thought the ethics foundation and profession division were the features of Chinese tradition society.The rural areas still retained the features of traditional society.So it was the rural areas with dramatic change at that time.As a result,MrLiang’s rural construction theory has an important significance today.Beginning with the present situation of social status and rural areas,and then stating the rural construction campaigns during the period of the Republic of China,analyzing Mr Liang’s rural construction theory with his cultural theory and philosophy,summarizing his experience of rural construction,this article focuses on the rural construction theory of Liang Shu-ming.Finally,this article comes to today’s rural Confucianism from Mr Liang’s theory which emphasizing the practice character,contemporary value and responsibilities of contemporary intellectuals.The first part of the article focuses on research background and significance.China’s economic development entering the new normal,people’s material life level improves dramatically.At this point,the Confucianism which is the main part of traditional culture gets more and more attention.So is the acceptance by people.The Confucianism has returned to life again with popularization.Nowadays the rural society has such common condition which the ritual and law is inefficient.We can try to use the old way,namely the Confucian’s way to improve such condition.This also leads to Mr Liang’s rural construction theory and carding the research status.The second part analyzes the background,direct motivation and development of the rural construction movement during the period of the Republic of China and combs the typical patterns of rural construction movement.The third part talks about Mr Liang’s understanding of China.According to Mr Liang,China’s rural problems was a serious disorder of culture at that time.However,the weakness politics result in the absence of state power.The fourth part points that the village is the root of Chinese culture.The Chinese traditional society is based on agriculture.Therefore,Mr Liang figured that rural construction should be first.The fifth part tells the contemporary value of Mr Liang’s theory.Liang Shu-ming’s rural construction theory is the reformation road of Confucian type,which has reference significance for the rural construction of today.From rural construction to rural Confucianism,the social environment changes a lot,however the responsibility of intellectuals is constant.Finally,we summarize the full text.Rural Confucianism is gradually carrying out in modern society,which is the inheritance and development of Mr Liang’s rural construction to some extent.To revive the country,to revive Confucianism,our job can only do our best.
